2012 Tournament of Roses Honor Band

 

Congratulations go out to Thomas Callier a member of the Saugus High School Band. Thomas auditioned for the 2011 Tournament of Roses Honor Band and was accepted to march in the Tournament of Roses New Year’s Day Parade. He was chosen to perform as a select member of the Harold Trumpet section, which is a special musical honor group that accompanies the queen and her court. He was selected from hundreds of candidates who auditioned for this prestigious honor. This is the 23rd consecutive year that a Saugus Band or Color Guard member has been chosen to participate in the Tournament of Roses Honor Band and Color Guard. Congratulations again Thomas!

 

2012 All-District Honor Band

 

Congratulations to the following students who have been selected to play in the 2012 Hart District Honor Band.

 

The Honor Band consists of students throughout the Hart District who played their instruments exceptionally well at the Honor Band Auditions.

Congratulations to Thomas Callier, a four year Honor Band Participation Plaque recipient.

Thomas was awarded the 2012 Honor Band Scholarship Plaque, which includes a $400.00 cash award.
